Peter
C. DeMarco is the leader & founder of the Institute 4
Priority Thinking where he supports his clients as an
executive coach, organizational consultant, business
ethics facilitator and strategy
advisor.
Peter has extensive leadership experience in general management and senior level executive assignments in the United States and Mexico while working for Latex Foam International, Bausch & Lomb and Xerox. He has held leadership positions as a chief operating officer, division president, managing director as well as management roles in operations, information technology and quality engineering. He also held the position of chief of talent acquisition & organizational effectiveness while helping to develop an executive team for a major financial services client. Along with plant and multi-site management experience in the U.S. and Mexico, Peter led the start-up of two manufacturing facilities from construction through staffing and on-going operations. Peter has significant first hand experience with leading in crisis or distress situations. Through the practice of Priority Thinking®, Peter helps his clients to develop as leaders; understand their corporate culture; identify and assess the risks to their business; and develop coherent strategies for improving and sustaining performance. Prior to his business career, Peter enlisted in the United States Army after high school and later served as an infantry officer in airborne and mechanized assignments.
Residing in Fairport, New York, Peter and his wife, Debra, have been married for twenty-eight years and are active in many community organizations and youth group activities. They are the parents of seven children and two grand children. A son and daughter are serving in the United States Marine Corps and Coast Guard, respectively.
Peter holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point; an MS from the University of Southern California; an MS from the College of Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology; and an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
