Richard MoralesDr. Richard (Rich) Morales is an Executive Coach and consultant for Leadership Development at the Institute.  Dr. Morales has developed his consulting, teaching and presentation expertise through more than 25 years experience in leadership and personal development training.  His varied experience at the city, county, regional, state and international levels and the established quality of his skills have earned him an excellent reputation as an educator, public speaker, group dynamics consultant, facilitator and trainer.

Dr. Morales’s accomplishments include the establishment and direction of training centers for personal and professional development; the organization of an international center for business and student exchange at the Rochester Institute of Technology; the development of advanced training programs in the field of compulsive and addictive behaviors; the development and implementation of a basic and advanced training program in peer counseling for Cornell University’s Center for Industrial and Labor Relations; and the design of courses and training to meet the challenges of a balanced workforce, change management, communication, team building, problem solving, group dynamics, mediation skills, leadership and knowledge management techniques.

Beginning with his bachelor’s degree in psychological and human behavioral studies from Michigan State University, Dr. Morales continued his education in leadership and group development training at the University of Michigan and with the Gabriel Richard Institute.  He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the State University of New York at Brockport; a Master’s in Social Work concentrating on Organization and Planning from Syracuse University; and, a doctoral degree in social science research from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Administration, Syracuse University.
