Operational Excellence Series

"Experience teaches slowly and at the cost of mistakes."

                                                   ~ James A. Froude

Operational Excellence.  The tools and skills are both popular and fundamental, so why do so many programs fall short? The answer lies in the priorities of the organization. If the priority is to implement a Lean Manufacturing, or 6 Sigma program, the program will most likely not yield sustainable results. Most organizations lack the consistent priorities that are a prerequisite to achieving Operational Excellence. Our Operational Excellence series helps leaders to "know" and provides the foundations and tools so that they will "do".

Operational Excellence

Organizations that thrive and are successful in the long term understand the characteristics of Operational Excellence. They have a devotion to do things right, and not resting in their current comfort zone.
