Journey to Excellence

At the Institute 4 Priority Thinking, we are proud to announce our recent certification as Journey to Excellence facilitators with the Spitzer Center for Ethical Leadership. Over 50,000 leaders have benefited from Journey to Excellence, a synthesis of wisdom from 150 prominent sources over three millennia. It represents Robert Spitzer’s research and insights from psychology, philosophy, history, and management science – from Aristotle to Covey.

Participating organizations include Boeing, Costco, Toyota, Caterpillar, Trinity Health Care, etc. The curriculum is founded on the notion of the Four Levels of Happiness™ or personal fulfillment identified by Robert Spitzer in his book, The Spirit of Leadership. Our definitions of happiness shape our behavior, our ethics, and our organizational culture. The choice for the higher levels of happiness enables participants to crystallize their priorities and choose superior purposes and superior habits.

The Journey to Excellence is a package complete with 16 DVD units (milestones) featuring the best of Robert Spitzer. Delivery can take place in bite-sized one hour chunks all the way up to two full days of interaction. The learning is supplemented through dialogue, exercises, and practical application enhanced by customized user manuals.
